If you stuck around till the end of the party (and most of you did – must have had something to do with the Niner Jet 9 RDO Grand Prize drawing?) then you heard the amazing news of our record-setting fundraising.  Because of YOUR generous giving, and because of the amazing support of our sponsors and donors, we announced a fundraising total of $83,000 – plus our friends at Allstate added an additional 15% match – to arrive at a Grand Total of $95,500 in total raised.  This is such a God-thing, far beyond what we hoped or even imagined was possible.  But it gets better.  After the event, we continued to get a few more donations.  When we got just over $97,000 we made a few calls (hey, we were so close to hitting six figures, we couldn’t just stop short).  A very good friend (who’s also visited and been inspired by the people of Rwanda) offered a large donation to put us over the top.  So, this year we’re excited to announce that we’ve raised over $100,000 for Project Rwanda and Team Rwanda Cycling!  Not bad for a day’s work, right?  THANK YOU for changing lives and for helping make a little history.  (Update:  In our first six years, our 50 Mile Ride event has raised over $320,000 for Rwanda.  Amazing blessing!)
