arroyotrabuco1For those who wanted a little variety in our Rwanda Ride route, we have good news for you!

The Arroyo Trabuco Trail (the one that follows the creek/wash back into O’Neill Park) is still a mess after the heavy rains.  Our trail crews have assessed the situation and have given that section of trail “two thumbs down”.  No way it will be rideable anytime soon.  So, we get to try a new route this year!

arroyotrabuco2We’ll still have a 25 miler and a 50 miler.  The actual mileage may be slightly over, or slightly under – we haven’t decided yet.  But one thing is for certain – it will be FUN!  Our team is working with the various park rangers in our area, and they are cooperating with us to make our event as successful as ever.  Most of our routes will remain the same as prior years.  We’re just coming up with alternatives to get us back into O’Neill without having a lot of road riding.
