There was a LONG delay in Rwandan customs, along with a few other surprises thrown in. If you’ve ever traveled in Africa, you’ll become familiar with the phrase “TIA” – it stands for “This Is Africa”. Things happen at a different pace in Africa, and patience is definitely a virtue. But the great news is: our 50 Mile Bikes have made it, and they are being assembled now. The first 100 bikes will be distributed next week to a specific group of students in Rwamagana (Olympic cyclist Adrien Niyonshuti’s home town). We’ll have more updates later to let you know the impact that these bikes – and YOUR generosity – are having in Rwanda. Thanks for your support!
