World Bicycle Relief (WBR) is truly doing great things in the world.  The more I learn about WBR, the more impressed I am – and the more enthused I am about helping their efforts.  WBR shares the same philosophy that we loved about Project Rwanda:  they offer folks “a hand up, not a hand out”.  WBR typically distributes their bikes in sub-Sahara Africa via a “work-to-own” or “study-to-own” basis.  Armed with the power of the bicycle, entire communities are transformed.  Our 50 Mile Ride event will help raise funds for WBR.  Check out this recent article in Barrons, to learn more about how WBR bicycles are changing lives and communities in Africa (and soon, in Rwanda – thanks to YOUR Rwanda Ride!).
